Weave Privacy Policy

Weave is a mobile app of four daily puzzles (Weave, Loom, Trellis and Sudoku) published by Third Stone Software ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the app handles and why.

The short version

• There are no accounts, no sign-up and no log-in.
• Your games, streaks and statistics are stored only on your device. We never receive them.
• The app shows a banner ad from Google AdMob. Google collects some device information to serve and measure those ads, as described below.

Information stored on your device

Puzzles are generated on your device. Your progress in each day's puzzles, your results history, streaks and statistics, and your settings (such as the theme and the last Sudoku difficulty you chose) are saved in the app's private storage on your device. This information is not sent to us or to anyone else. You can erase your statistics from the app's stats screens, and uninstalling the app deletes all of it.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

The app is free and supported by a single banner ad, provided by Google AdMob. To serve, personalize (where you allow it) and measure ads, and to prevent fraud, Google's software in the app may collect:

• your device's advertising ID and other device identifiers;
• your IP address, from which an approximate location may be inferred;
• device and app information, such as the device model, operating system version and app version;
• ad interactions, such as ads viewed and tapped;
• diagnostic information about ad performance and errors.

This information is collected and processed by Google under Google's Privacy Policy. See How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services for details. We do not receive this information in a form that identifies you.

You can reset your advertising ID or opt out of personalized ads in your device settings (on most Android devices: Settings → Google → Ads, or Settings → Privacy → Ads).

Your consent choices

Where the law requires it, including in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the app asks for your consent through Google's consent message before personalized ads are shown. You can review or change your choice at any time from the app's Settings screen under Ad privacy choices.

What we don't do

• We don't sell your personal information.
• We don't run our own analytics or tracking in the app.
• We don't ask for access to your contacts, camera, microphone, location or files.

Children

Weave is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact us and we will help.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update it on this page and change the effective date above.
